How to Beat Fatigue #2. Use Hypnosis.

Practical Advice For Better Living.

There are an amazing number of effective tools to beat fatigue. This is part two of a series on how to get your energy back right now.

Tool #2 Self-Hypnosis

Self-Hypnosis can be a remarkably useful technique. I was skeptical when I first heard of it, but am always looking for ways to get energized naturally and gave it a shot. I’m happy I did. It’s been a boost when I only have enough energy to read something. Wikipedia has a great breakdown of the phenomenon as a whole. Hypnosis provides a good hack when you suspect your tiredness is psychosomatic. My suggestion is to put aside your skepticism for the duration of a couple sessions. It may pay off. There’s even one small anecdote about a woman who managed to treat sudden onset of chronic fatigue syndrome with hypnosis and biofeedback. Say to yourself, “This may work. It will help if I believe it has some power.” Afterwards, reflect on the experience. Did you have more energy?

A great starting point for entry into Self-Hypnosis is Forbes Robbins Blair’s book Instant Self-Hypnosis: How to Hypnotize Yourself with Your Eyes Open. Check it out at Amazon.
